started my f525 john deere miower drove it about 20 feet put mower deck in gear and engine cut got motor to turn over by bypasssing safety switches but no fire to coil any sugestions???? thx ddsjr

I'm thinking the switch under the seat.....I don't bypass safety switches,,so I can't help you there... It does sound like a problem with the seat switch, but if you let the pro's know what you have for an engine with numbers I'm sure they'll get you going.... Roger

Hi,
I would check all connections to ensure that there is no corrosion and that nothing has come loose.
How did you check that the coil was not firing?
Was that from using a spark in line tester?
Let us know how it goes and we can work out the next diagnostic steps.
