My gps just quit working when i was fishing in the rain at a bass tounament. I have let it dry out and plugged it back in and it will not turn on i am guessing it got wet inside some how, i thought these things would be water tight i guess not. Any one got any ideas or has anyone had the same problem. :madhell::help:

They are water resistant, not waterproof. They'll survive a splash now & then, but a soaking rain or drop in the lake will take its toll. A large Zip Lock plastic bag can help protect it.
Lowrance has very good customer service. I had to send my handheld back for repair because the internal antenna quit working. They have a fixed rate for repairs that's reasonable, and they turn it around farily quickly. As it turned out, mine was still under warranty so they waived the fees and replaced it instead of repairing it.
For the record ... if any electronic device gets wet, shut it off immediately and don't turn it back on until it's been taken apart and allowed to dry out for at least three days.

Also check your fuses, there should be 2, 3 amp fuses to the unit 1 for thr graph and 1 for gps.
