Could someone give me some suggestions for insulating our outdoor pump house?
Pump House is constructed of standard 4"x8" concrete block. About four feet by four feet and three feet high. The top is plywood with corrugated metal roof. The floor is just sand.
The concrete blocks have nothing but air in the voids. Would adding sand in the voids help or is air a better insulator that sand?
I also thought about glueing the blue or pink poly insulation to the inside of the blocks and on the underside of the plywood roof.
Thanks!
