After i have turned the power on of my tv it went off and on every 5 to 10 minutes what could be the problem do ineed to replace something and how will i do the replacement.

This model tends to get bad solder connections as it ages.You will need to take it to the shop to fix it ,unless your good at spotting cold solder connections.
