I have a 30 horse johnson on my potoon boat electric start with omc controls, i was putting down the lake when all of a sudden there was a little burp in the motor the it shut down tried to restart but to no avail now i'm not getting any spark at all at the plugs. pulled kill switch wire of the back of the ignition still no spark any suggestions? need to get grandmas boat running again :wall:

how many cylinders and how many coils?

you should check to see if you are getting power to the coils.

it has 2 cylinders and 2 coil paks both no spark at all

Check to see if the black wire with yellow tracer isn't grounded. Thats for the kill circuit. other than that I would suspect stator or powerpack.
