Labor excluded and taking into account all materials required (i.e. substrate, builder's felt...), which method will save me more money? This will be going on a 12'x8' shed. Thanks.

Why not use a ply wood siding like T-111. That would be quick and probably cheaper.

I must agree with Marksr. If t-111 is installed probably it will and can last and look pretty good.

T-111 costs more than regular plywood [or osb] but by the time you buy plywood, tar paper, wire lath and everything you need for stucco - it should be cheaper, definetly faster.
