I am out of ideas. This WindTunnel will not suck. I have a clean bag, I have cleaned all the air flow passages and checked the belts. It powers on, the roller brush turns. There is air flow from the secondary filter and through the final filter but nothing to the bag. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Without knowing the model number. I can tell you that there is a thermal detector which shuts down the suction motor, but does not stop the agitator brushes. Unplug the vacuum and let it cool. While cooling, re check all internal passages for a blockage. After the vacuum has cooled, try it again. If the detector fails to reset, you may need to take it to a service facility for further repairs.

If this will help. Model number:
U6439-900. Where exactly is the suction generated? I am looking for a passage from the motor thinking perhaps it may be clogged, but find none.

There is a portion of your owners manual devoted to clearing blockages. Check pages 10 -14 for info.

Can't find the manual? Go to the hoover. com web site and put your model number into the search block. You can download the owner's manual.
