I have an Ionics brand filter and need to replace the media/resin. How do I know what type of resin to buy?

This guy knows what he's talking about and has a very informative site. Shoot him an e-mail telling him about what brand, size, etc. your unit is and he can make a recommendation on what you should use based on your water quality, usage, etc.
I recently needed to rebuild my wholehouse carbon filter. This guy had the timer motor, the carbon media, gravel, etc. and offered lots of free info in a very quick time frame. Later!
