looking for printable wiring diagrams for a 1986 & 1987 Chevy/GMC 1500-3500 Pickup Truck

But you can buy a Haynes manual that will cover the model year with a full diagram in the back of the book.

I have the Hayes manual but it doesn't show the dual tank set up just the tank on the left side and I also have a Chilton Manual and it doesn't have the diagram either.

Not sure, but wasn't the second tank aftermarket? If so, it won't be in the diagrams.

the dual tanks were an option and the little factory sticker in the glove box confirms this as well as the axle ratio, radio etc that are on the vehicle

check also at your local library, ours has mitchel manuals on microfilm and you can make copys for .25 cents each page.

good idea Speedwrench but there is a slight problem with that as my local library is a 2 room building and I doubt if they even know what I was talking about if I were to ask and this town is so small it is only open a few hours a week and they have to pipe in the sunlight to them. I will if I happen to go to the state capital and do as you suggested thanks.

What are you looking for as far as the wiring goes? We may can find it out for you.

I need the 1987 Chevy/GMC truck 1500-3500 light duty wiring schematic for the dual fuel tank system from the dash switch all the way to the dual tanks including the selector valve to the tank with the in tank electric fuel pumps, 1986 didn't have TBI so it had the pump mounted on the engine and wired all different. thanks
