Background - I bought a runner to protect my carpet in a high traffic area about a year ago. Once in a while I had to cut pulls-no problem. We have a dog restricted to certain areas, and I think her getting excited about seeing other dogs walking past on "her" sidewalk have caused an exacerbation of the pull/fuzzing problem. We have restricted her area even further, but now, there are multiple "fuzzes" that are getting worse with each vaccuuming. They are all over the runner, and it would probably take me a good day to try to cut all the fuzzes and pulls.....
The underlying runner is in good shape, but is there another way to remove all of these fuzzes besides scissors?
( I know - should have kept up with them, but do you want to trim fuzzes out of carpet after a day at work? : ) )
Thanks -
Debbie

are the fuzzes around the edges? if they are unforchantly no. the carpet piles are sown into the backing , like a pare of jeens that are cut, the piles will unravel after time. area rugs and runners should be binded[a small peace of 1" nylon maching color in a roll that is sown around the edges]. some carpet stores do offer binding $$. maby home depot , i'm not sure

Fuzzes are not around the edges, they are over the length of the runner........I may just replace, and then take my time removing the fuzzes....thanks for your help
