I have a home gym setup in a large room, which makes lining the walls with mirrors a little impractical (for me at least).
I am thinking about making a rolling setup that I could move around. I want to keep it fairly lightweight and would like to avoid using large + heavy mirrors as I am very inexperienced in working with mirrors and only have my small car to transport them around.
What do you guys think about putting two of these side by side:
50"L X 14"W Polished Rectangle Frameless Mirror (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=26204-13437-8412&lpage=none)
I'm thinking I could build a horizontal frame out of 2x4s for the wheels and have three vertical 2x4s as a frame for the mirrors. I would then screw 1/8" MDF or fiberboard to the frame and then glue the mirrors to the 1/8" material. to finish it off I would have diagonal supports from the back linking the vertical 2x4s to the horizontal ones.
sorry for the long first post, but I would appreciate any input. Any other ideas? Thanks for your time.
