Hi there,
I have a gas range KitchenAid – Model:YKGRT607HW9 that the oven doesn't work.
Conditions:
grill – works
oven match – works
I don't hear the sound of gas coming in.
I suppose one ore more of this:
valve/reg - defective
valve/reg wires – defective or faulty contact
Board circuit related to valve/reg – defective
Any advice/idea would help
Thank you

Hello de109 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and to the Gas Appliances topic.
Oven match???? Works???
You will have to clarify what Oven Match means???.......
Also what Works means???? What works????
If the oven works, then what is the problem????...I'm confused...........
No gas sound? Good. You're not suppose to hear any gas sound or gas coming out of the burner. The safety is working as intended.
Until there is a positive source of ignition, whether that source is a pilot flame or Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) no gas is suppose to come out of the gas control valve.

Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.
Cautionary Reminder Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
