I need to know if dwarf fescue or the fescue type does well
in a area without alot of sun. It gets morning sun but
around noon 1:00pm the sun moves behind the house.
The area I live in is San francisco Bay (east bay) Alameda.

There are specific types of fescue for shaded areas.I live far away from you so I can't give a particular recommendation but retailers in your area,in particular locally owned independent hardware stores and garden centers,will know what does best in your area.Avoid big box stores as they do not usually have knowledgeable help.
