is that a big deal it is like 2 inches from closing how can i fix it thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum.
Well there are a couple ways to fix it.
First is to try to remove the supports and see if it will get close then lift on the open door to bend the aluminum housing. this usually works if it's close but 2" it might not.
The second way is to unbolt one side if the windshield and reposition it. If you do this use a chunk of cardboard to make about a 1/8" gap and close it in the windshield and lock it shut. This will help get it straight. You will need to redrill the mounting holes.
