Hi, I have a Best by Broan kitchen hood brought in 2001. The model # is k23 and it's a stainless hood with stainless chimney.

The hood have 3 speeds. About a year ago, the first two speeds stop working so only high speed was still working. I removed the control board and did a bypass with a wire to test the switches. With the bypass, I was able to activate all the speed, so I thought the control panel was the problem. I ordered a new one and the problem remain. I then order a new circuit board and it did nothing...I'm confuse because the bypass still activate all speeds.

I need some help troubleshoothing this one. If it make a difference, the switches are design in a way that you have to press the first speed switch to activate the second speed, and let this one on to activate the third speed.

Hope I was clear enough(my english is not that good...I speak french).
