Am adding a bedroom to our house. It will only have 3 sides to it, since it will be attached to the house on the last side. If each side is 20 feet long (x 3 sides) and the height is 8 feet each side, what is my total square footage? I'm guessing 480, but not sure if I multiplied correctly. Thanks

The square footage is the area of the footprint (20x20) which is 400 sq. ft.
The volume for air handling calculations is 400x8, or 3200 cubic ft.
Hope this helps.
