Ok, I have a few problems, looking around for help, found this site.

I have a garage door I'm attempting to refinish. It's varnished, but the varnish is decaying. I cannot remove the door, and do not have a router. :(
The trouble is that there are some routed bits. These are hard to get to, but need to be sanded. Even trying by hand fails, the angle is too steep (Half-inch beading AFAICT, thus 2 90° angles & a nice curve). I tried making a sanding block for it by using some FastSteel 2-part epoxy putty to mold from the door, but the sandpaper isn't flexible enough. Any suggestions as to how to sand this area? Preferably without taking the whole thing apart and buying a router.

I also have some trouble using a flap-wheel sander on the corners, but that can be manually sanded easily enough. Picture to illustrate:

Thanks for any advice you may be able to offer.

Welcome to the forums!

There are some various shaped contour scrapers you can use. Basically you will scrape off the majority and then follow up with sandpaper. You can also carefully use a scraper to speed up the removal process in the corners.
