One zone in my sprinkler system appears to be leaking. There is no obvious "gusher" and no "weeping" heads- - just heavy saturation. When the electrical power is turned on with no zones operating, the flow indicator on the water meter is spinning. But when I turn the electrical power off, the flow indicator stops turning. Could this be an indication of a faulty valve, or is it more likely a broken pipe? :wall:

both of your options are possibilities for a leak. Your system IS leaking, we just dont know where yet. The best way to find it at the moment is to walk around your yard and look for a wet area. If its a slow leak it could take a few days to show up. Leave your system in the off position for a few days if neccessary but leave the water on. This will help to highlight your problem area for you so it can diagnosed and fixed easier.
