We're probably going to get a new roof - ranch 1900sq.ft. on the main floor. There's 1 power fan - thermostat controlled - that runs constantly when the air temp is above 75 degrees F. we'd like to improve roof ventilation which would (hopefully) lower the house temperature. Would a ridge vent or more fans be more effective? Combination of the 2 or something sompletely different?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hands down, ridge vent. BUT in combination with the correct number and area of soffit vents.
