Removing wood stains from carpet. Applied by dog urine.

A couple of lacquer/dog urine spots ~one inch square each
And
Three spots roughly 4 inches square. Brown wood stain/urine.

Total area is about four by three feet.

Have tried the following:

Professional carpet cleaner service. several visits by ChemDry

Soaking in water and blotting

Have not tried steam cleaning.

I have carpet left over from the initial installation, if replacement may be indicated.

Have not had any more accidents by the two dogs in several months, but they are 14 years old.

any suggestions ?

wood stains are tannin in nature and need a tannin remover....BUT with that being said after everything that you have tried they are most likely set.. I would suggest a bonded insert from your spare carpet...most likely looking in the area of 150$$+ for the service. But you may find it cheaper...But remember that you get what you pay for
