Greetings,
I have a Kenmore 80 series gas dryer that does not dry a full load in 50 minutes. Unit is about 2 years old.
Details on unit:
MOD 110.74832400. Ser MR2308084, type: DWSR - NAT- 1206006-CV22. D26 M74832R.
Troubleshooting thus far:
Cleaned out vent to roof with fishtape and cloth, removed back and cleaned out the lint catcher vent area and fan, cleaned lint catcher w/ soap and water to remove any fabric softener residue. Ran dryer without hose and almost gets load dry - clothes are warm now, but need to run an extra 1/2 cycle.
I am mechanically inclined, but I have never worked on a gas dryer. . is there a schematic or step-by-step resource to replacing parts such as solenoids, etc?
Thanks so much for your help !

Does it dry in timed dry? Try in timed dry than auto dry and see it results are the same. Under consul there is a wiring diagram.

the timed dry is even worse than the auto dry setting. .
Do you know which parts I should check/replace and were I could find a resource to install them?
Thanks for the help!

Does it heat for about a minute or so than quits. If that is the case you most likely need the gas coils, Replace both of them.

My gas dryer heats for a couple minutes then quits. What do the gas coils look like? Are they fairly simple to replace?

Easy to replace, they sit on top of gas valve. Do you need help with opening dryer?
