Hello all,
I have an Ademco HoneyWell Vista 15p, with a 6150RF keypad. I already have a few some wireless sensors in my setup, so I assume the Keypad is indeed acting as receiver for them.
This being the case, I am looking at adding the 5821 Water/Temp sensor to my setup (link (http://www.securitystoreusa.com/Ademco+5821+Wireless+Temperature+Sensor+&+Flood+De-p/480158.htm)), but I am not entirely sure whether it is compatible with my system. Every spec I have read indicates that the sensor requires a '5800' series receiver.
So, is my 6150RF keypad compatible with the 5821? :(
Thanks!

The 6150RF is the equivalent of a 5881m wireless receiver (16 wireless zones). So if you don't already have 16 wireless devices (keyfobs count as _4_), then you have the space.
The problem is that you cannot see the programming prompts with this keypad to add your device.
Since you are adding just the one device, I will say that you _can_ do it "blind" but it's not "easy".

Thanks Ron... this is exactly what I thought.
Yes, I will have to probram it Blind... I hate that... will try to find some pointers, but I know it is not easy and risky. Oh well, no money for a fancier keypad, but some day!
