the old thermostat is a trane and it has B W R T Y G O X2, the new one has E AUX Y G O L R B C. How would I wire this up? Thanks!

What are we hooking up here? I'm guessing HP with back up. Is the back up gas or electric?

This how it should be hooked up.

Old---New
B to C
W to Aux
R to R/Rc
Y to Y
G to G
O to O/B
X2 to E
T is no longer used.
