nora produce a preformed flash cove section for inside and outside corners to join onto the straight lengths. If you are self coving the noraplan sheet rubber material you should be cutting butterfly sections and welding on the flat rather than on the apex of the outer junction. Rubber weld rod is not the same as PVC and behaves more loke the weld rod you get with marmoleum. You need to drop the heat setting on the heat gun to 4 normally just to get it to flow. Your not looking to get "peel up" or "fusion" like in a vinyl weld.

thank for the reply. nora has stoped making the premolded sanitary corners. architect spec. intergral flashcove through out patient rooms only.i did as you said from the start but the hard part was retriming of the weld on outside corners. best i could do was reheat and trim square. architects said not acceptial. all other rooms are sanitary base with cold weld, same color as heat weld.i am useing cold weld on corners and wall seams . for outside welds i have 1" putty knife with 90 angle cut out of it ,rounded 1/8" in center. next day trim up with x-acto and use sand paper to round out side corner, then apply wax. all so started using "turbo welding tools" heat sensitive welding tip, gun set at 9,trim 1 pass and come back next day for final cut and clean caulk working very well for me.
