We recently purchased a house that had an existing ADT system (DSC) in it. I replaced the existing keypad with a DSC RFK5501 because I wanted the ability to add wireless zones. After reviewing the forum I believe that I need to follow these steps to add each wireless sensor:

1. *8, installer code, 804, zone, esn number from sensor

2. *8, installer code, zone, 8, ##

Does it look like I'm missing anything?

For the wireless reciever portion of this keypad, you use the same instructions as the PC5132-433 module:

http://www.alarmsuperstore.com/dsc/wirelessprod/receivers/PC5132-433.pdf

1. *8, installer code, 804, zone, esn number from sensor ##

2. *8, installer code, zone, 8, ##

Close, but for that second one it should be 2. *8, installer code, 1xx (xx being the zone number), 8, ##

Then you also need to set the zone type, and depending on which zone number (and system model), you may need to activate the zone in the partition. Generally, only the first 8-16 zones are active by default.
