I used a 2 X 2 carpet remnant to replace an area with a bleach stain approximately. I researched the proper way of installing this carpet but unfortunately you can still see all four seams. The carpet fibers are short to medium length and I'm wondering if there are "rough up" tips (with common tools) that would connect the old and new fibers along the seams to help hide them better. I'm willing to try anything....adhearing and removing velco material over and over, etc.
