First of all I read the guide here:

The problem is that I can't access the dryer duct exhaust port. The dryer is upstairs in my master bathroom and I think the duct exhausts on the roof. The dryer duct bends right at the base (about 4-6 inches of the opening) and I think it goes straight up to the roof.
