I'm trying to replace an old Frazier Johnston thermostat for our heat pump with a new Honeywell RTH7600D, but I have one of those systems where the instructions tell me that I need to contact a contractor. Can you tell me how to do the wiring? I have 7 wires labeled on the old thermostat: W1, W2, R, G, X, Y1, and E. I guess the problem is really where to attach W1 and W2 since they are each supposed to connect to the Aux slot.

You by any chance have the model # on the old t-stat?
Is W1 and W2 wired by itself, or is there a jumper in between the two.
What are hooked up at the air handler/furnace?
