hello everyone,
with my current position,i inherited about 25 ranger alarm panels
which i now have to reprogram for a different monitoring company.i've used the caddx software with the newer nx panels with no problems.in trying to use the dos version for these older units,i'm not able to get into these panels. any tips on dialing in would be helpful.i have the downloader unlock code,but never get prompted to enter it,as i can't get the panel to answer.have tried using *9 and *99 for force answer.any tips on getting into these panels would be most welcome.then i could get on with my life......

If these panels have ever been downloaded by another copy of the software using any download code other than the factory default, then they have been locked to that copy of the software. I think the only way to fix it is to default the panel.
