I installed a new starter on my ATV and noticed a grease fitting just above the starter gear that engages the starter drive bendix.
Does anyone know if an all purpose lithium grease will suffice and how much should be applied?
Does the entire bendix need to be lubed including the gear that cranks the flywheel or just where the starter engages the bendix?
