Hi,
I have a craftsman 1/4 which worked great for a while. Now I can open the garage with either my hand remote or the remote programmed in my car, biut I can't close it with either of these items. I have to leave my car, go back in the house and constantly hold down the main button on the panel until it closes. The garage wants $75 just to come back out to look at it. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks:confused:

Your sensors may be bad...are you getting any error codes (flashing LED, wall control or main light?)
1/4 HP...bet thats an old baby...most start at 1/3- 1/2 hp now.
If its more than about 10 yrs old...bite the bullet and find one on sale and replace it.
