I have a new house with an upstairs unfinished bonus room. Currently it is 3/4 t&g sturdifloor over 2x10 joist 2 ffot on center. I am trying to get comments on trying to stick down (with polyglue) the colorized sunday funny paper and then 4 or 5 coats of clear poly finish over it? I have seen it done on a slab with epoxy and it looked really good. does anyone have any expierence with something like this? what are my potential pitfalls here? that for any comments.

Welcome to the forums! Understand, your request is quite out of the ordinary. Or else you would have already had the job done. It takes some thinking on our part collectively to come up with answers to some ideas, so bear with us.
We first have to ask ourselves..."why"??? Once we get over that, it becomes easier. You should probably use a water soluable glue on the floor to attach your newspaper pages. Once that is dry, use a water soluable polyurethane in several coats over the design. I am not too sure whether or not regular polyurethane would do the job since it may destroy the newsprint. Maybe not.
