I really like the 5 minute fence stain. I applied it this last weekend. It took slightly longer that five minutes but the fence looks brand new again.
Does anyone know if you need to put a water sealer over a stained fence like on a deck?

Wouldn't hurt, but since it's a fence, the boards are vertical and won't retain water like the horizontal boards of a deck will.

What the sealer WOULD do for you is keep the water from getting to the stain and damaging it, at least for as long as the sealer lasted. Water and sun are eventually going to destroy ANY exterior coating.

You must be one of the lucky ones; every review I've ever read about the product has been mostly negative. :coffee:

Most stains on the market are both stains and sealants. Check your product to find out if it is a sealant as well as a stain.
