I have a Ryobi 725r gas trimmer and I'm wondering if there is a way to modify the the reel to be able to put a larger diameter line than .080 on it?

The safest bang for you'r buck is to buy a larger trimmer,,,, Or replace the trimmer head you have.... I don't think it's a good idea to modify something thats turning ~6000 RPM with your feet only a couple feet away... Just my thoughts... Roger
