My machine wont agitate or spin. All the pumping functions work fine.

I replaced the coupler like 2 months ago and has been working fine since. I took it apart again and the teeth on both halfs of the coupler look fine. Anything else that it might be? The machine hums, when it suppose to agitate.

Thanks,
Joe

never mind. I see that the coupler has failed. The plastic slide forward of the metal insert.

make sure you hammer the metal all the way till the shaft is flush next time

When you hammer with a socket as suggested in the video, should the socket sit on the metal...so you're not striking against the plastic? I think I pried it off after striking a few times, the first time, because it wasnt alligned properly. I'm sure that weakend it.

I just use the ratchet end of a 1/2 3" ext. you should hammer on the medal.
