Hello
My granddaughter's play set is made of wood. It is being damaged by bees/hornets but I am afraid to treat it because the children 's hands will be exposed to the chemical.
Is there a way around this?
Thank you

Go out at night with a water hose with a jet attachment or power washer and spray the crap out of them. Be prepared to run if needed, though they don't fly too well at night.

Are they drilling holes in the set? If so, you have carpenter bees. They will drill an exact 1/2" hole in the wood and lay their eggs. Without using an insecticide (and I understand why), you may can epoxy the holes to keep them from re-entering the holes. Good luck with them.
