I have a kenmore70 series dryer that works fine except that it takes morethan one cycle to dry the clothes. I know that the heating element can go bad over time, but is there anything else I need to look for before i replace the heating element?
Thanks

Check the exhaust to see if it is obstructed with lint.

Don't replace heater element usually work or don't. Most likely you need to clean vent to outside or the tube behind dryer is crushed. Daddy John had it right.

if you were to try it with the duct work removed it would work fine most likely
