Long story short...Craftsman Tractor died...repairman says block is cracked but all else is good, just replaced blades, carb and a few other items. Don't know how old it is, just bought the property. It has a three bin hard bagger and front bumper. Its a 25hp, 48in. Should I get another Craftsman so I can use the old ones parts (bagger etc) or go for a John Deere. I have 3 acres, landscaped.
Thanks

Grandma,
Check into having this cracked engine repaired with a short-block engine and keep going if everything else is in good condition.
Doing something like this would be much cheaper than buying a whole new mower.
Good Luck
