I have a Rain Bird ESP-LX Modular irrigation controller.

Does any one know or has anyone tried to control their low voltage lighting with this unit?

The lower end ESP unit has an aux connection that suggests can be used for lighting. But I don't see any information on that with this unit.

Thanks

this controller is basically sending out around 28 volt, close enough for your low voltage lighting. However, I do not know if you can specifcially use it for lighting purposes. I see where you are going with this, but I do not know if any of the feedback will hurt the controller.

Using it for lighting will undoubtedly void the warranty, but your best source for an answer would be rainbird. Rain Bird: Sprinkler Systems, Commercial Irrigation, Residential Irrigation, Lawn Sprinklers, Drip Irrigation, Golf Course Irrigation and Agricultural Irrigation (http://www.rainbird.com)
