I would like to replace the old hardware on my kitchen cupboards with beach pebbles. The cupboards are painted with melamine. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can use to stick the pebbles to the cupboards
Thanks

It depends on how nice of a job you'd like to do, ideally you'd have a hole in the stone, and be able to use that with a traditional fastener, but getting a precise hole through it is very difficult and I don't recommend it. Instead use some two ton epoxy mix it very thoroughly and clamp it on tightly allowing it to dry, well beyond the time recommended on the package before removing the clamp. Two ton epoxy is easily available at a local hardware store. Flow mix varieties are much easier than squeezing out of two seperate tubes. In the True Value Hardware store I work at there is over 10 types of epoxy, so if you have a local True Value or maybe Ace, they should have it.

Are you looking at shaping them like a knob? Not sure how you'll use them to actually open the cabinets? Have you tried looking for knobs that are already made with that type of look. There are many artsy knob places on the Internet these days.
