hi all, I'm into two strokes and building stuff with motors although I don't have that much experience it's still fun as hell! I've salvaged a Tecumseh TCII two stroke engine off a rototiller type thing and am preparing to attach it to a skateboard and then add a kiddy bicycle wheel-steering head-bars to the front front. This is just gonna be a little fun p.o.s. to mess around with so it's not going to be any uber professional job or anything but I'm still working on getting the motor running up to par. Just wanted to put this out there cause I'm excited about this project and wanted to share with others
So far the motor runs but but the throttle calbe seems to be stuck cause it doesn't always respond and can't pull the throttle linkage very well.
I'm thinking a good carb cleaning wood be good also just to get everything running shipshape. I'm guessing pull the gas tank on top to get at the carb? anybody have experience with these motors?
I have a slot cut out for the motor on the board and planning on mounting some rims on the shaft where the tiller blades were.
I'll post pics soon.
