Does such a thing exist? The reason I am asking is that I am replacing the main heating element in my oven, and when I place the new one in the oven, the prongs go through the oblong holes, but the two pieces do not meet 100% flush. One of the oblong holes is out of shape, and I did use a pair of needle nose to try to even it out. There looks to be a 1/8 inch gap. Should I be concerned, or will this be OK? Is the white stuff behind the back wall fire resistant?
