Is there anyone here that can tell me what size purlin I need; given some facts?

Need: rafter length (span); roof rise per foot; purlin bearing span; roof covering material; and snow load per local area. Be safe, G

There are 3 truss'es.
One at 0' ;one at 20' and one at 40'.
They are made out of 2 3/8 oil field pipe.
The rise is 49".
The building is 30' wide.
From crown down to outside wall is 15-'6".
There will be 4 purlins down one side and 4 down the other.
No snow. Old tin
Purlin's will cover 20feet.

Didn't see that one coming.......Lol. Hire a structural Engineer for safety. I doubt you'll get an answer, no S.E. would take liability on old, installed oil field pipe, unless new and unused. (and not his/her design) Be safe, G

Just in case you check back in, this IS THE diy forum. It would be irresponsible for us to give you information on scantily clad information on a building using second hand materials that weren't made to build with. Now, with a few pictures and a little more information, we may could have come to a different conclusion, maybe not. We referred you to an engineer because we want you to be physically able to come back to the forums, and not kill yourself or others trying to do the unconventional.
Hopefully the information you got from the other forum pleased your tastes, since I believe that is what you were looking for in the first place. We're here to help, not to send you bad information.
