I have a Kenmore Progressive upright vacuum, model 116.35622. I was using it yesterday when it quit. I noticed smoke coming out of the motor housing. The lamp was still working. I turned it off and unplugged it. After about an hour, I plugged it up and turned it on. Nothing. The lamp wouldn't come on. Checked for clogs, and the brush turns. I suppose it's ready for the bone yard?
