hello, I have a ceiling fan/ light combo and it is powered by a single wall switch. the 3 speed pull chain switch for fan broke in the off position. is there any way to wire it so that the fan turns on when i flip the switch?

thank you

No. You need to open the fan bottom part where the light kit is attached to. You can then see the parts that control the fan and light. You will either have to replace the switch inside or, if your in luck, just get a new chain and splice on to the old one.
