Heeled last weekend with a crew of DC-ites & a few stowaways. It was an ugly go on our 3rd race, thanks to a very fickle breeze and a few unlucky gybes. We pulled our fair share of tacks and everything was going fine, but then it got a little squirrely and our string jib blew. I'm sure everyone has enjoyed their moment of pain and elation while learning the in's & outs of sailing & t' abundant maintenance. Have you repaired ur laminated string sails recently? Would love to share tips as sending sails out r very costly. Does anyone know of a loft in SE Florida that is affordable? Thx & Enjoy t'Beauty of t'Day.
