Has anyone used this product? It just seems to good 2 be true.

It probably is hype...but I have used some things similar. I had some areas that the water just ran off and pooled near a fence back in VA. I'd aerated and added compost and top soil, etc etc..no real help during heavier rains. Rest of the lawn was fine except this one area. I'm sure it was something with the grading and a heavy deposit of clay right in that area.
I did some research on products like you mentioned and found one that supposedly was used by a local golf course and a big landscaping company. Called the head groundskeeper and one of the supervisors of the company. They both had used it for areas like I had when they didn't want to regrade. Figured I'd try it and surprisingly it really did seem to help...for about a month or so. At the cost they wanted it wasn't something I would use on a regular basis.
Also tried a different product (actually more like what you listed I think) at a place we were staying in in CA. The lawn had been sort of neglected and compacted. The water from the sprinkler system just ran off to the street if it ran for more than 5-10 min. Bought a product..put it in my hose end feeder..and tried it. Wound up with a solid mass of goo clogging everything. Maybe I should have read the instructions? Can't use it with a water mixer type feeder...needed to be a straight syphon feed so it wouldn't do exactly what it did, until it got washed down into the soil....lol.
Anyway..finally applied it correctly and again, it did seem to help..for about 2 months. Wasn't going to invest anymore in a temp fix product for someone elses house.
I don't like the verbage of the ad on the site you linked...kinda like those water machines that "increase the hydrogen bond angle to 107 degrees to make Miracle Water!"
So thats my take on it...
