I've had my Kenmore 500 for just over a year and it has started "whining" when it's aggitating. I think it only does it when I'm using the "heavy duty" cycle (not sure). It doesn't do it when it's spinning or any other time. What the scoop?

Most of the time I hear a whining noise it's something stuck in water pump. But usually hear it in spin. Water pump turns any time the motor is turning.

pop the 2 clips off the pump and pull it off the motor and see if the noise goes away
