I am painting an old dresser. I have already sanded & primed it. After brushing on the first coat of black paint, I think it is too shiny! I used an Interior Enamel High-Gloss Alkyd paint. What should I use that is not so shiny??

You can find similar paint in semi-gloss black. If the same brand you used doesn't have it many other lines do.Just make sure to stay with oil based, lightly scuff sand the surface and clean off any residue from that and then recoat.
