my evap cooler only works in lo not hi put new motor in, i had an extra one that didnt work, put new switch in that didnt work what else could it possibly be?

You put in an extra what that didn't work? The motor? If this is a small unit window or wall unit, w/o electronic controls..its either the motor or the switch or a broken wire..period.

Gunguy is correct. One thing I might mention.
My brother in law had this same problem with his cooler only to discover after much parts changing, his belt was getting water on it and slipping! No matter which speed he picked, it always acted like it was on low.
I have seen this a couple of times in the past 30 years. Just thought I might mention it.:)
